Canyon Acres is committed to giving all children the opportunity to live in real family homes. Wraparound provides that hope for many children. Through a unique partnership with Wraparound Orange County, Canyon Acres provides a process for families (biological, extended and foster) to help stabilize and equip those families, enabling children to live in real home environments.
By utilizing a Care Coordinator to facilitate the Wraparound process, and a Parent Partner to support the parents throughout that process, Canyon Acres is able to help a family build on its strengths in order to provide a safe, healthy and loving home for their children. The Wraparound Team is comprised of Canyon Acres staff, members of the family, and other members of the community who are important to the family. Wraparound “wraps” each family, with help and service, recognizing that families need ongoing support from their own relatives, neighbors and communities.
