Canyon Acres provides outpatient mental health services to children in foster family homes and community family homes. Outpatient services include individual, family and group therapy and psychiatric medication services.

Canyon Acres’ Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) program provides intensive time-limited therapeutic behavioral coaching to assist children who are at risk of hospitalization or group home placement or who are preparing to move to a less restrictive environment or a family home. The TBS program provides the child with a one-on-one coach to assist them with specific behavioral issues and help the child and the child’s caregivers to develop the resources to address the issues
