In this innovative program, specialized staff utilize sophisticated relative searching techniques to locate long-lost family members of children who have been in the foster care system for many years. For most children, the Creating Family Connections team is able to identify and locate dozens of family members locally and throughout the United States. Once located, family members are engaged with the children, giving these children a sense of family and hope for the future. Children that were once told there were no family members to be found anywhere are now experiencing the type of family support we would want for all children.
