Contract Expressive Art's Therapist, Per Diem

Job Description:

Position would lead 1-2 hour long groups a week for children ages 6-12 in after school program.

Qualifications:

Degree in or certified in Music Therapy, Dance/Movement Therapy or Art Therapy.  Experience in leading small group activity.


IHSA/Crisis Responder, Per Diem

Job Description:

Provides direct and supportive in-home monitoring services to parents, caregivers, and children receiving Wraparound Services on a referral by referral.  This position has Intake responsbilities as well as being on-call once a week out of the month. 

Qualifications:

Minimum of 60 units of college coursework completed (with a minimum of 9 units specifically in psychology, child development, or human services).  Minimum of 6 months related experience working with youth.


Visitation Monitor, Part-time

Job Description:

Transport foster children to court-ordered visitations.  Facilitate appropriate communication between child, family member/s, and other visitors.  Set and maintain clear and consistent boundaries between all authorized participants during the visit. Provide parent coaching and education during visitation. Collaborate with foster parents and social workers to process any concerns occurring during visitation.  Maintain records and comply with all agency reporting requirements.

Qualification:

Possess an AA degree and one year related experience working with children in a residential treatment or child care setting.  Or, possess AA degree in social science field and complete 60 hours of applicable training in child development, foster care, discipline, attachment, separation and loss, child abuse, psychotropic medications, cultural competency, client’s rights, emotional/behavioral issues, CPR/First Aid, and other relevant topics, prior to position start date.


Outpatient Mental Health Therapist, Part-time (position is located in our Riverside office)

Job Description:

Provides clinical and case management services to clients. Collaborates with agency staff,

caregivers, other professionals and interested parties to develop and implement a

comprehensive treatment plan for children in placement.

 

Qualifications:

 

Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Social Work or the Behavioral Sciences

Previous clinical experience working with children and families addressing issues of

abuse.    Has or is actively pursuing a clinical license from the State of California. 

Must maintain current licensure or be a registered intern with the California Board

of Behavioral Sciences as an ASW or MFT.
